We all know that we need to spend time with our children but how often do we proactively work toward creating memories. Sitting around the house watching TV or working on the computer while the children are in the room is not family time. The valuable time comes when you decide to make a memory.
Memories don’t always come from elaborate trips and vacations. Sometimes they come from family games and activities that take little to no preparation or money. I remember spending a lot of time as a child playing card games with my family. We have a lot of picnics in our family room with my kids and they love it. My wife is also very good at taking us all along to every local festival, parade, fair, and other low cost or no cost family activity.
What can you do this weekend to create a memory?
